• 1:1 Teaching Assistant – full-time, term-time only
• Work under the guidance of a supportive SEN Lead
• Gain valuable class-based experience within a welcoming school community

• Provide 1:1 support to an SEN child, both inside and outside of class
• Work closely with professionals and contribute to the development of EHCPs

To excel as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll need a 2:1 or higher in Psychology from a leading UK university, along with prior experience working with children with SEN. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will support the child’s individual needs, helping them to achieve academic and personal development. You will also work collaboratively with professionals and provide essential input into EHCPs to ensure the child’s progress.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ rated school in Havering values behaviour management and aims to provide a positive learning atmosphere for all students. In this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role, you will play a key part in ensuring the SEN child receives the support they need throughout the school day, including during lessons and other activities.
