Art & Design ECT | About the role:

• An Art & Design ECT will be expected to teach Art up to A-Level.
• The new Art & Design ECT will be joining a high-achieving students, with high aspirations.
• Join an 11-18 Mixed School Rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED as an Art ECT.
• Art ECT Salary Outer London MPS/UPS.
• Opportunity for responsibility for the right candidate, an Art ECT could become the Head of Art, or even a Lead Practitioner for the Arts.
• Receive award-winning CPD as an Art ECT and follow a clear progression plan.

Art & Design ECT | About you:

• An Art & Design ECT must have UK QTS - Any route to gaining UK QTS is accepted (PGCE / PGDE / Teach first etc...).
• It is essential for an Art & Design ECT to have a good Undergraduate Degree from a Top UK University.
• Teach engaging lessons to students up to KS5 as an Art & Design ECT.
• Has an ambition to progress through the school.
• An Art ECT must want to expand their pedagogy and teaching practice.

For the right Art ECT candidate, there would be the opportunity to take on additional responsibility to even lead the Art and Design department.
