Aspiring Primary Teacher | KS1 / KS2 | Primary School in North London

Are you a Psychology, Education or Graduate in another subject, and hopeful Aspiring Primary Teacher looking to add to their child-centred experience before applying for a PGCE?

If you have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top UK University, and would be fully committed to spending this academic year working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School, our exciting and rewarding role, perfect for any Aspiring Primary Teachers, will be exactly what you are looking for!

Here at Ribbons & Reeves, we have an exciting opportunity to be an Aspiring Primary Teacher on a year-long contract that can launch you towards life as a Primary Teacher! This fantastic Primary School is looking for a Aspiring Primary Teacher to help students with their phonics and core subjects as a Primary Teaching Assistant across the school.

Aspiring Primary Teacher | About the role:

  • Initial 1-year contract for an Aspiring Primary Teacher starts September 2024
  • An Aspiring Primary Teacher can earn between £480- £510 per week | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis
  • Aspiring Primary Teacher role – Perfect for Aspiring Primary Teachers
  • Supporting pupils with their learning on a whole-class, 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Use strategies effectively and be able to work using your initiative while following policies and procedures.
Aspiring Primary Teacher | About the school:

  • The successful Aspiring Primary Teacher will secure a role at one of our wonderful Primary Schools in Harrow
  • You will work under the guidance of a supportive SENCO and Senior Leadership Team to provide an inclusive education to all pupils.
  • You will be required to provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require extra help in the classroom.
  • Patience, understanding, empathy and the ability to build a positive rapport with Primary-aged pupils are essential in this role.
  • This is the ideal role for a Aspiring Primary Teacher hopeful who plans to become a Primary Teacher, and the school will provide ongoing support and training to help you confidently apply for PGCE programmes in the future.
