Aspiring Primary Teacher | Primary Teaching Assistant | Merton

If you are a Graduate with a 2:1 or above degree classification who is committed to commencing a career within Primary Education, this Primary Teaching Assistant role will be the perfect stepping-stone for you!
Starting from September 2024 (earlier starts available for immediately available TAs) and lasting for the duration of the 2024-2025 academic year, our Primary Teaching Assistant roles will allow you to get fully immersed within the day-to-day life of busy, vibrant Primary Schools.
Learning from Outstanding Primary Teachers each and every day you will enable yourself to start your PGCE on the front foot with a solid foundation of classroom experience under your belt.
This Primary Teaching Assistant role is available at one of our partner schools in Merton.
Aspiring Primary Teacher | Primary Teaching Assistant
- Primary Teaching Assistant – Merton
- Supporting KS1 and KS2 students on a whole class, 1:1 and small group basis
- £18,750 per annum | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and whole-class support for pupils of all abilities, including some pupils who have SEN. You will work very closely with Qualified Primary Teachers and confidently deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to drive up attainment levels within literacy and numeracy. You will monitor pupil progress and encourage social skills.
