Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Ealing
Salary: £22,000 - £24,500 per year

We are a supportive, inclusive primary school in Ealing looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for aspiring psychologists seeking hands-on experience in a rewarding educational setting.

As an Aspiring Psychologist- SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them in their learning and personal development. You will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and implementing strategies to help SEND students achieve their full potential.

Aspiring Psychologist- Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with SEND in the classroom, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support, ensuring students feel safe and valued.
• Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to develop and review learning plans.
• Observe and report on student progress, contributing to regular assessments.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Aspiring Psychologist- Requirements:

• A psychology undergraduate degree or relevant qualification.
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or care setting.
• Passion for supporting children with SEND and a commitment to their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
