Autism Support Assistant – Southwark – Immediate Start

Are you a Psychology graduate passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This Autism Support Assistant role in Southwark offers an excellent opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD, helping them succeed both academically and emotionally.
  • Run intervention sessions to boost pupils’ development in key areas.
  • Encourage children to engage with classroom activities, fostering participation and inclusion.
  • Support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage with their learning environment.

Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a top UK university.
  • Genuine interest in supporting SEND students, particularly those with ASD.
