About the role: As a Behaviour Mentor in Chingford, Waltham Forest, London, you will provide essential one-to-one support to a Year 10 student with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor:
  • Work 1:1 with a Year 10 student, providing emotional and academic support.
  • Assist in lessons, helping the student stay engaged and motivated.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviour and support social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create a positive learning environment.
  • Be a role model for resilience and perseverance.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Behaviour Mentor:
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology Degree from a Top 20 UK University.
  • Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills.
  • A passion for working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • A strong desire to progress within education and make a meaningful impact.
  • relevant experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. 
Job specifics:

  • Pay: £96-£100 daily via PAYE (including holiday pay)
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term until July 2025
