Behaviour Support Worker – Waltham Forest – Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage behaviour across the school, including patrolling the corridors and providing on-the-spot support.
  • Work with students to de-escalate potential disruptions and promote a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to implement behaviour strategies that meet individual student needs.
  • Assist with behaviour interventions, helping students to understand and improve their conduct.
  • Provide consistent support to help students focus on their learning and achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a behaviour support role or similar capacity, ideally within a school setting.
  • Minimum 2:1 Degree from a top 20 UK university.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude to supporting students and staff.
Location: Waltham Forest – an exciting and diverse area with a vibrant school community.

Start Date: Immediate start, with the position running until July 2025.
