- Contract: January 2025 - July 2025 (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)
- Position: Biology Academic Mentor
- Location: Secondary School in Kingston upon Thames
- Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per year (pro rata)
- Role Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Biology Academic Mentor | Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group tutoring to students across Key Stage 3 & 4
- Support students in building their Biology knowledge and boosting their confidence
- Assist classroom teachers with differentiated learning activities
- Help students prepare for GCSE exams and assessments
- Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best results
Biology Academic Mentor | Personal Specification:
- A strong academic background in Biology (A-Level, degree, or equivalent)
- Previous tutoring experience is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for working with young people
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive
- Able to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting is a bonus
