Ribbons and Reeves are looking for a high calibre PA to support the Deputy Head of an impressive Secondary Academy based in Hackney!

The Deputy Head’s PA will be an integral part of the School Administration team and will efficiently provide quality organisational and administrative assistance. As the Deputy Head’s PA you will have will be highly organised, fast paced, and have excellent attention to detail.

Deputy Head’s PA job summary:

• Salary: c. £100 - £150 per day
• Full-time position (52 weeks)
• Temp to Perm
• Hackney Based
• Start Date: Immediately

Deputy Head’s PA responsibilities include:

• Assist the Deputy Head in all aspects of their work with proactively and professionally.
• Diary management including scheduling, acting as the ‘gatekeeper’, receiving visitors, providing preparatory support, and making travel arrangements.
• Production and co-ordination of school documentation in educational publications, the local and national press.
• Maintain accurate records of senior leadership team (SLT) and staff meetings, distributing agendas, minutes and other relevant documentation as required.
• Liaising with Operations and HR Managers regarding staff holiday and reception cover as needed.
• Performance management of staff.

Deputy Head’s PA requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Must have experience as PA to senior leaders within a school.
• Degree level education desirable.
• To have used a management information system (MIS) within an educational setting or equivalent – preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information sensitively.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
