As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning through play.
- Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and social development to help children build strong foundational skills.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, ensuring they stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
- Observing and documenting children’s development to support their learning journeys.
- A passion for working with young children and a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
- Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
