Are you a bubbly and empathetic Graduate seeking experience in a Primary School working specifically with EYFS children?

Do you have previous experience working with children under the age of 5 and are looking to build additional practical experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant?

We are currently working with a friendly and welcoming Primary School in Croydon who are recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support in one of their reception classes from September. The role will see you working closely with children who are struggling with their Speech and Language and are presenting traits of SEND (ASC and ADHD).

Early Years Teaching Assistant | The role:

• Foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with a safe, happy and positive place to learn.
• Assist the Class Teacher with the planning of learning activities.
• Implement all policies and practices in line with the ethos of the school.
• Supervise and lead small groups of children.
• Work alongside pupils who have additional learning needs.
• Support a creative and inclusive curriculum which values learning.

Early Years Teaching Assistant | What do you need?

• Obtained a minimum of a 2:1 degree in the Psychology/Education field from a Top UK University.
• Experience working with EYFS children.
• Comfortable with Personal Care.
• Ideally have some experience working with children with SEND.
• Confident and bubbly personality.
• Aspiring EYFS/Primary Teachers are encouraged to apply.
