As an Economics Teacher in this ‘Outstanding’ (OFSTED 2020) School, you will be required to:

• In conjunction with the Lead Teacher Economics, help design and deliver a distinctive Economics curriculum that meets the aims of the Academy, emphasises attainment and the needs of all students
• Assisting the Head of Department to develop a coherent academy wide approach to literacy through the curriculum
• To provide specialist subject Economics expertise as appropriate

The requirements for this Economics Teacher position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Top 20 UK University
• QTS obtained through PGCE/Teach First/SCITT/Schools Direct
• Experience Teaching Economics up to KS5
• Positive attitude towards pupil’s learning and an encouraging and enthusiastic teaching approach
