We are seeking an English Graduate to join a thriving school in Southwark. This full-time role provides hands-on experience supporting students, with excellent opportunities for training and progression into Teacher Training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students in English, working closely with pupils of varying abilities to help them excel.
• Assist the class teacher with classroom management, and the creation of engaging learning materials.
• Offer personalised academic support to students who require extra help, helping them grasp challenging English concepts.
• Participate in intervention programmes designed to boost students’ academic performance and confidence.
• Support students in their written and literary analysis, ensuring they understand key concepts and themes.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, helping to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree in English from a top UK university.
• Strong A-Level results in English
• Passion for education and a desire to work with young people.
