English Teacher – Redbridge – January Start

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of literature.
  • In KS3, deliver three lessons per week for Year 7, with additional library sessions to boost independent reading and research skills.
  • GCSE English Language and Literature (AQA syllabus), with banded sets to ensure tailored learning and student progress.
  • A-Level English Literature at KS5, working with small, motivated groups.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress through exam-style assessments to ensure high academic standards and support individual development.
  • Engage with extracurricular activities, contributing to the wider life of the Academy.
