Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (GCSE and A-Level).
• Tailor lessons to suit the diverse learning needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to support academic development.
• Encourage a love for literature and creative writing, inspiring students to think critically and express themselves confidently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching English curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the student experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
• Strong passion for teaching English, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (GCSE and A-Level) is preferred.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to teaching.
• A commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
