A high-achieving secondary school in Putney, Wandsworth is seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

 
This English Teacher role would suit someone with excellent subject knowledge and a clear, structured classroom approach. You’ll be teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver A-Level English Literature if desired.

 
English Teacher – Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Contribute to curriculum planning and department meetings
• Monitor progress through regular assessment and feedback
• Support pupils with varying academic abilities

• QTS and strong English subject knowledge
• Experience teaching the national curriculum at secondary level
• Confident classroom presence and high expectations
