Head of English | The Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
• Lead curriculum development and drive excellence within the department
• Support and mentor colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes
• Contribute to the school’s wider vision for English education and student success

Head of English | Who We’re Looking For:

• QTS with a strong academic background (2:1 or higher in English or related subject)
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for students
• A passion for English and the ability to inspire and challenge learners
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to raising academic standards

Location: Bexley, Outer London
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) + TLR
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
