Are you an experienced teacher with strong leadership skills looking for a Head of Year role?
 
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to take on a key pastoral leadership position, supporting students' academic and personal development from September 2025.
 
Salary: £31,350 - £47,839 + TLR 2.2 (£5,530)
 
Head of Year – Role & Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and support a year group to ensure high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Oversee student welfare, attendance, and pastoral care initiatives.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement effective interventions.
  • Engage with parents and external agencies to promote student success.
 
Head of Year – Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching and leading pastoral care.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
