History ECT | The Role:

• Permanent History ECT role starting September 2024
• OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in Hampton
• Highly experienced members of staff in place to mentor & support the ECT programme
• Salary: Outer London Pay Scale | MPS

History ECT | Personal Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Obtained at least a 2:1 History-related Degree from a UK Top 20 University
• Recent observations demonstrate ability to ‘Meet’ or ‘Exceed’ the Teaching Standards
• Confident with GCSE / A-Level History planning and teaching

This Hampton-based Secondary School are continually evolving their practice and pedagogy to align with current research. They achieve exceptional GCSE & A-Level results year on year and have high behaviour and academic expectations of all pupils at their school. They are keen to employ a History ECT who can implement the same approach in the classroom.
