We are seeking a humanities graduate to join a secondary school in Hackney, starting as soon as possible.

• £90-100 a day (Term time only, until July 2025)

Role:

• Assisting with classroom management and lesson delivery across subjects such as English, History, or Social Studies
• Collaborating with senior teachers to enhance students’ learning and academic progress
• Providing one-on-one tutoring in humanities subjects, helping students improve their skills and confidence
• Creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
• Developing your teaching skills and gaining experience in managing diverse classroom dynamics

 
Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in a humanities-related field from a top 20 UK university
• Experience working with young people, particularly in a teaching/coaching role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
• A love of the humanities and an eagerness to teach it!
