KS1 Phase Leader - 'Outstanding' Primary Secondary located in West Drayton, Hillingdon | September 2024

As the KS1 Phase Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the education and development of our youngest learners. You will lead a team of enthusiastic and skilled teachers, providing support and guidance to ensure the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning. You will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum and assessment, monitoring progress and ensuring that our pupils are reaching their full potential.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership. You should have a deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum, with a passion for promoting excellence in teaching and learning. You will need to have previous experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team and driving improvement.

Key Responsibilities - KS1 Phase Leader;

• Leading and managing a team of KS1 teachers to ensure the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning.
• Developing and implementing the KS1 curriculum, ensuring that it is challenging and meets the needs of all pupils.
• Monitoring progress and attainment of pupils, using data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
• Providing support and guidance to KS1 teachers, including regular observations, feedback and coaching.
• Ensuring that safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Candidate Specification - KS1 Phase Leader;

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in KS1.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team and driving improvement.
• A deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• A commitment to promoting inclusive education and raising the achievement of all pupils.
• Knowledge and understanding of current educational policies, trends and issues.
• A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
