Job Title: KS1 SEND Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MP4/5 (Based on experience)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced KS1 SEND Teacher to join our team in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND children and a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced KS1 SEND Teacher to join our team in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND children and a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
KS1 SEND Teacher | Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupils in KS1.
- Work with the SENDCo to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Differentiate lessons to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and staff.
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Collaborate with external agencies to support SEND students.
- Contribute to the development of SEND practices and policies.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching SEND children, preferably in KS1.
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about supporting children’s individual needs.
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, or other specific learning difficulties.
- Relevant SEND training or qualifications.
