We are excited to be working in partnership with a vibrant and thriving 3-11 Primary School to recruit a new KS1 Teacher from September 2024.

The incoming KS1 Teacher will be joining a wonderful school community where games and outdoor learning are a key feature across the year groups.

KS1 Teacher – The School:

• Children in Year 1 are taught as a whole class, in small groups and individually so each child achieves their potential.
• The school’s aim is to make sure that children have a broad and balanced curriculum across KS1, in which they learn to become independent learners.
• The school embraces children’s interests and approach aspects of learning through play.

KS1 Teacher – Job Specification:

• QTS and excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• A confident KS1 Teacher who encourages learning through exploration and can inspire the awe and wonder that young children have!
• Committed to a child led approach to learning
• Can set expectations for behaviour and embed positive attitudes towards school
• Is able to create magical moments that captivate the imagination of pupils!
