- Providing academic support across various subjects, assisting students with their learning and encouraging independent study.
- Offering mentoring and guidance, helping students with personal development, confidence-building, and goal setting.
- Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, creating a safe space for them to engage and thrive.
- Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure each student receives the support they need to succeed.
- Monitoring progress and providing feedback to help drive continuous improvement.
Learning Mentor | What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a Learning Mentor or in a similar role (e.g. TA, SEN support).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students’ individual needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A passion for education and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
