Mental Health Support | Newham | Immediate start!

 

A vibrant Mental Health Support Assistant is required to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs in an amazing Newham Primary School.

 

Be part of an inclusive team, ensuring that all pupils are able to have access to mainstream class teaching, through your support and teamwork with other staff and external support frameworks.

As a capable Mental Health Support Assistant with a 5-star personality, you’ll play a pivotal role in a very important stage of the pupil’s education. Owing to the effect of the COVID pandemic,SEMH and Mental Health needs amongst children are still very high, and this school recognises the benefit of having a Mental Health Support Assistant supporting their most vulnerable pupils and allowing them to continue to access the excellent teaching at the school.

 

This is a full-time Mental Health Support position available for the duration of the coming academic year. The school has a very strong leadership team and an experienced Special Needs Co-ordinator who will work closely with you to ensure your support is tailored and appropriate to the pupil/s you will be working with.
