Mental Health Support Assistant | Barnet, London

 

If you are a passionate Psychology Graduate keen to work as a Mental Health Support Assistant within an outstanding London Secondary School, then this is the role for you!

 

Graduates with a minimum of a 2.1 Psychology-related degree from a top 20 UK University are encouraged to apply. Experience working with children with SEMH needs is desirable.

 

Mental Health Support Assistant | Job Summary

  • Mental Health Support Assistant – Commencing in September 2024 until the end of the academic year
  • Full-time term time only Mental Health Support Assistant role
  • Work alongside qualified Mental Health professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists
  • Ideal for an Aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist
  • Role Paying £500-£550 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis

 

Mental Health Support Assistant | Job Role

  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
  • Highly rewarding role making a meaningful impact on children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties during their most vulnerable years
  • Supporting and comforting Student with Anxiety and/or Depression
  • Work as a Mental Health Support Assistant providing the best care for children with SEMH needs
