Modern Languages Academic Mentor | Job Details:

• Fantastic Secondary Schools based in Putney
• £450-550 paid on a weekly PAYE basis
• First-Class Modern Languages-related degree from a top 20 UK university is required
• Strong set of A-Level and GCSE results
• Previous child-centred experience is desirable for this role
• Opportunity to begin your teacher training from September 2025 and progress your career in the education industry.

Modern Languages Academic Mentor | Key Responsibilities:

• Working in both 1-to-1 settings and in partnership with other professional colleagues including class teachers.
• Using a variety of styles and methods of teaching suitably differentiated, which consider the individual learning and linguistic needs.
• Developing schemes of work together with personalised study support programme(s) tailored to meet the needs of individual learners.

For consideration of this Modern Language Academic Mentor role, you will need to have excellent academics, a career history of working with children and a proactive attitude towards a future career in Education.

Alongside the above, it is essential that you have the confidence in your subject to support secondary school students of all abilities between KS3 & KS4.
