Pastoral Administrator | Secondary School in Mitcham, South London

A large school in Micham are looking for a Pastoral Administrator to provide administrative support to the SEND/Behaviour team and the main school office.

• Provide administration support to SEND/Behaviour team and the main school office
• Opportunity to work closely with school leaders, SEND specialists, Education Psychologists
• Training and CPD available for all staff
• Pastoral Administrator pay is c.£500-£600 per week + holiday entitlement (term time only)
• Pastoral Administrator role starting in April 2024

The new Pastoral Administrator will need to be adept in using school based systems (SIMS and CPOMS) to log notes, attend and minute parental meetings, liaise with colleagues internally to ensure accurate pupil records, as well as support the front office with Reception and admin duties, such as taking calls, responding to emails, circulating communication to parents using school systems.

This Pastoral Administrator is a new role to the school starting in April, the position will initially be offered on a contract basis until the end of the academic year and then longer term.

The school is located in a residential area close to an overground train station, its is served by many bus routes and also has a large car park. This is an inclusive school where pupils behave well and attendance is high. The school was graded to be a ‘good’ school in 2023.
