HLTA – East London, Newham – ASAP Start

We are currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to join a mainstream secondary school in the heart of Newham, East London.

About the HLTA Role:
  • Immediate start with ongoing opportunities throughout the 2024/25 academic year
  • Support the learning and development of students, including those with SEN
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support across various subjects
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored lessons and learning strategies for SEN students
  • Help implement individualised support plans in collaboration with the SENCo and teaching staff
  • Promote an inclusive environment, encouraging all students to engage and achieve their potential
  • Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor and assess student progress
