My client school is a primary school in an up-and-coming suburb in Harrow, is looking for an experienced Teacher to undertake their vacancy as a Primary SEND Teacher (ASD). With great travel links, outstanding resources and a 'Good' rating from OFTSED, this school is the perfect place for you to develop your own teaching prowess, whilst helping students with additional needs.

Primary SEND Teacher (ASD) | About you:

  • Applicants must have QTS.
  • Experience as a SEND teacher in the UK would be advantageous, however, other experience with SEND will be considered.
  • Any experience with ASD is ideal.
  • Applicants must be patient, organised and reliable. 
  • Past observation feedback must be provided; with evidence of effective communication, planning and lesson delivery.
  • Other attributes & skills we are looking for: To be qualified in Pediatric First Aid, History of using Sensory Techniques, use of Makaton, History of working in a Multi-Disciplinary Team and a vast array of Work experiences...

 

Primary SEND Teacher (ASD) | About the role:

  • Work as a Primary SEND Teacher (ASD), with a small group of primary-aged students who have a diagnosis of ASD.
  • Students have an EHCP.
  • This role pays an Outer London Salary (M3-6+ SEND Allowance).
  • This role will begin on an initial contract basis and then develop to a permanent position if applicant is a right fit for the school.
  • Create effective lesson plans for the students, drawing on previous knowledge of SEND and experiences.
  • Work with the SEND team to make sure EHCP targets are being hit.
  • The role offers continuous CPD, and will even offer eventual progression.
  • Join a welcoming and dynamic team of teachers and educators.
