Primary Teaching Assistant | Dulwich, Southwark

 

Are you an aspiring Primary Teacher who is passionate about children’s education?  

 

We are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Graduate to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant within a London primary school in Dulwich, London.

 

Graduates with a minimum of a 2.1 degree from a top UK University are encouraged to apply. Experience working with children is desirable, but not essential.

 

Primary Teaching Assistant | Job Summary

  • Primary Teaching Assistant working in both 1:1 and small group settings, supporting a Primary Class alongside the class teacher
  • Full Time Primary Teaching Assistant role: Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30
  • Role Paying £480-£520 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Role starting September 2024 until July 2025 (opportunities to stay on after this are available)
  • Work with a class teacher to adapt learning activities that relate to each child’s ability, capabilities and interests
  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Primary Teaching Assistant to promote the inclusion, diversity and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom.
  • Phonics training available
