Psychology Graduates Wanted for Primary School SEN Support Roles
Location: Camden, North London
Contract: November 2024 - July 2025
Pay: £96 - £105 PAYE per day
Are you a recent Psychology graduate with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development? We’re looking for dedicated, compassionate graduates to work in primary schools across the region, providing vital support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers and SEN coordinators to create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. You’ll support children on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping with activities that foster social, emotional, and academic growth. This role will offer you valuable hands-on experience that’s ideal if you’re considering a future career in educational psychology, child psychology, or SEN teaching.
Psychology Graduate - Key Responsibilities:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a supportive school setting while making a real difference in young lives. You’ll receive daily support from school staff and regular check-ins from our team.

Psychology Graduate - Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual or group support for children with SEN
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Helping children build confidence and improve social skills
- Observing and tracking progress, reporting to SEN staff where needed
- A Psychology degree (or related field) with a good understanding of SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children
- Previous experience with children (desirable but not essential)
