Ribbons & Reeves are excited to be working in partnership with a vibrant and thriving 3-11 Primary School to recruit a new Reception Teacher from September 2024.

Set within considerable grounds, the incoming Reception Teacher will be joining a Foundation Stage that was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ during the school’s last Ofsted inspection. Games and outdoor learning are a key feature at this school across the year groups.

Reception Teacher – The School:

• Children in Reception are taught as a whole class, in small groups and individually so each child achieves their potential.
• Throughout the year, Reception will work towards achieving the Early Learning Goals as outlined in the ‘Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage’.
• The school’s aim is to make sure that children have a broad and balanced curriculum, in which they learn to become independent children ready for the Year One curriculum.
• The school embraces children’s interests and approach aspects of learning through play.

• QTS and excellent knowledge of the Reception curriculum
• A confident Reception practitioner who encourages learning through exploration and can inspire the awe and wonder that young children have!
• Committed to a child led approach to learning
• Can set expectations for behaviour and embed positive attitudes towards school
• Is able to create magical moments that captivate the imagination of pupils!
