The Academy is looking for a passionate School Business Manager to join their leadership team. The School Business Manager is a crucial role with varied responsibilities including all aspects of Budget, Finance, Premises, Administration, HR, Commercial Lettings, Domestic Services and Health and Safety.

School Business Manager duties include:

• Policy and financial management and implementation
• The School Business manager is responsible for all School Budgeting
• Financial and expenditure reporting
• Debriefing to the Senior Leadership Team
• Compliance and safety checks incl. DBS and Referencing  
• Recruitment
• Management of all departments and procedures in preparation for Ofstead inspections.
• Preparing Workforce Census for approval and submission.
• Keeping school MIS up to date with relevant information including absence, attendance, safeguarding etc EOY procedures in time for the new school year.
• The School Business Manager is responsible for the smooth running of school operations.
• Management of the admin team and site team.

School Business Manager requirements:

• Diploma in School Business Management (DSBM) or a relevant professional qualification in financial management/HR at a minimum of Level 5 preferred.
• Experience of working effectively and project managing at a senior level within education.
