School Finance Officer, £30,000 - £35,000, Central London

This is an exciting opportunity for a School Finance Officer to support the Head of Finance, assisting in the smooth running of school finance operations. The School Finance Officer will have proven experience of preparing and managing financial and management accounts, reports and data.

The School Finance Officer will join a friendly school finance department to provide effective and efficient support across the school.

School Finance Officer summary:

• School Finance Officer Salary £30,000 - £35,000
• Responsible for day to day supervision of Finance Assistant
• Overseeing all financial transactions in compliance with finance policy
• Monthly reconciliation of School accounts and expenditure
• Preparing monthly VAT claim for the school
• Managing School Budgets and monthly financial reporting
• Assisting in the annual accounts audit
• Identify and resolve supplier queries/investigations/duplicate payments
• Oversee the input and authorisation of school orders, invoices, debtor invoices and payment batches
