School Finance Officer | Kensington & Chelsea
Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting role in education? Or perhaps you have a basic understanding of school finance and are eager to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment?
We are recruiting for a Finance Officer to join a federation of vibrant and diverse primary schools in North Kensington, located close to Ladbroke Grove station, Portobello Road, and Notting Hill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and administrative support to the Financial Strategic Lead and Executive Head Teacher across two schools.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in all tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the office team to meet the daily challenges of a busy school environment.
- You have experience and knowledge of finance (school finance experience is desirable but not essential).
- You’re proficient in FMS, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook (experience with Arbor is a bonus).
- You thrive in a busy office environment and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- You’re self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a varied role.
- Candidates with basic knowledge of school finance and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Part-time role: 4 days per week, term-time only (plus inset days).
- Flexibility to work additional hours and occasionally remotely.
