Job description

Science Teacher – Barking & Dagenham – January 2025 Start We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school and sixth form in Barking & Dagenham.

About the Role:

  • Full-time, term-time only
  • Focus on progress and attainment for students in Years 7-13
  • Work closely with KS3, KS4, and KS5 students
  • Lead engaging Science lessons, supporting individual and group learning
  • Support SEN students and manage behaviour effectively
Key Requirements:

  • 1:1 or 2:1 Science Degree from a leading UK university
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required; PGCE desirable
  • Previous teaching experience needed, but ECTs are welcome
  • Confident in supporting SEN students and managing behaviour
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to student progress
Pay: £35,322 - £53,994 per annum
Start Date: January 2025
