- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching that results in excellent student outcomes.
- A degree in Biology/Chemistry, Biology Literature, or a related subject (2:1 or higher preferred).
- A passion for Biology and the ability to inspire students to excel in reading, writing and critical thinking.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience or a desire to take on additional responsibilities, with leadership potential.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and a drive to contribute to the overall success of the department.
