Applicants with a 2:1 or higher from a top 30 UK university, or prior experience in the education sector are encouraged to apply.

Science Teaching Assistant | Job Description:

• £90-£110 per day (including holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE
• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm as a Science Teaching Assistant
• Work with high and low achieving secondary school students in KS3 & KS4
• Supporting teachers and support staff in a classroom setting
• Providing 1:1 and focus group sessions to cement student understanding
• Attend educational and recreational school trips!
• Regular opportunities for professional development

We are looking for applicants who have:

• 2:1 Science Degree from a Top 30 UK University
• An interest in enrolling in a Teacher Training Programme or a PGCE
• Confidence and charisma to lead a class of secondary school students
• Passion for teaching students in a diverse and inclusive environment
• Enthusiasm, creativity and adaptability who wants to be part of a collaborative Science department in Lewisham
