SEN Learning Support Assistant (Hearing Impaired) | Brent | September

SEN Learning Support Assistant | The Role

  • £475-500 per week (inclusive of holidays) paid via PAYE 
  • Term time work only 
  • Full time Learning Support Assistant role commencing September running through the 24/25 academic year 
  • Hands-on, classroom experience 
  • Assisting students with additional needs
  • Creating a safe and equitable learning environment 
  • Working 1:1, or in small groups, with children with hearing and communication difficulties

What do I need?

 

  • Hold a Psychology or Education degree (or related) of at least a 2:1
  • Child-centred experience with hearing impairments or communication difficulties (preferred) 
  • A passion for working with children and creating an environment in which their learning can excel 
  • Great communicative skills, resilience and understanding 
  • Patient, calm and caring
