SEN Teaching Assistant – Newham – ASAP

Are you a graduate eager to apply your degree in a meaningful way by supporting students with special educational needs? Do you have a passion for positively influencing young people’s lives and some hands-on experience in doing so?

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related subject from a top 20 UK university
  • Prior experience working in a child centred role, particularly those with special educational needs
  • Confidence in handling challenging behaviours and supporting students with learning difficulties
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging learning materials tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Adjust teaching methods to meet the individual requirements of students
  • Support students’ physical, social, and emotional well-being
  • Construct an inspiring and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation
