Primary SEN TA | Waltham Forest | ASAP

Your Responsibilities:

  • SEN Support: Provide dedicated assistance to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups
  • Tailoring Learning Resources: Modify and prepare learning materials to suit each student's unique needs
  • Holistic Support: Offer support in a variety of ways to help students thrive
  • Fostering an Engaging Classroom: Help maintain a positive, stimulating learning environment
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure every child receives the support they need to excel
  • Behaviour Management: Confidently manage challenging behaviour, particularly for students with additional learning needs
 

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or a related field from a Top 30 UK University
  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a Primary school setting is essential
  • Strong communication skills and effective behaviour management strategies
  • Confidence in supporting children with challenging behaviour and additional learning needs
  • Compassion, patience, and resilience are key qualities we value
