- Assist in the delivery of differentiated lessons and learning activities
- Work closely with the SENCO to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
- Support students with personal care and mobility needs, when necessary
- Monitor student progress and contribute to reviews of progress
- Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure effective communication
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs (SEN)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or similar, desirable)
- Knowledge of a range of SEN and strategies to support students' learning
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
