- Supporting students with SEN across the curriculum, both in-class and through small group work.
- Implementing individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Providing emotional and social support, helping students develop confidence and positive behaviour.
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and adapting resources to suit the needs of SEN students.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress and liaising with the SENCO and other staff to provide effective support.
SEN Teaching Assistant | What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their academic and personal best.
