SEND Teaching Assistant | Kensington & Chelsea

SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time role in a welcoming Primary School in Kensington & Chelsea
  • Working closely with SEND pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Starting January 2025, with the potential to continue beyond the academic year
  • Competitive weekly pay of £450-£500 (including holiday pay)
  • Ideal for graduates considering a career in educational psychology or SEN teaching
Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, or SEMH needs.
  • Collaborating with the SENCo and class teacher to implement tailored support plans.
  • Promoting confidence, independence, and positive behaviour in pupils.
To be considered, you must:
  • Hold a degree in Psychology or a related field (2:1 or above preferred).
  • Have a genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in supporting pupils' progress.
