SEND Teaching Assistant position in Bexley

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a highly rated Primary School in Bexley. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work in an enriching environment and make a meaningful impact on young SEND students.

About the Role:

• Start Date: September
• Contract type: Long term, full-time, temporary contract until July 2025.
• Pay: £95.00 – £105.00 per day (holiday pay included).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-to-one with vulnerable students, covering a variety of SEND needs as a Teaching Assistant.
• Develop & implement a variety of support strategies and interventions specified for students with SEND.
• Monitor & report on students progress throughout the school year, adapting your support strategies where appropriate.

Essential Requirements:

• Sound understanding of SEND behaviours, interventions and strategies, with previous experience in a relevant field.
• A passion for creating an enriching experience for all involved in a SEND academic environment.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
