Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing the school’s SEND policy.
• Coordinating and monitoring interventions to support students with SEND.
• Supporting and advising teachers to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Liaising with parents, external agencies, and local authorities to provide the best possible support for SEND students.
• Leading and delivering professional development for staff on SEND strategies and inclusion.

To be considered for this SENDCo role, you will need:

• A relevant SENDCo qualification (NASENCO) and QTS.
• Experience in a SENDCo role or a similar leadership position.
• A thorough understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
