Social Science Graduate - Role Overview:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide academic and pastoral support to students, both in small groups and one-to-one. You will assist with lesson planning, behaviour management, and promoting student engagement, particularly for those with additional learning needs.

 
Social Science Graduate - Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in Social Sciences and across the curriculum.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Encourage student participation and independence.
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies.

 
Social Science Graduate - Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, or a related field – Minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised UK University.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• A passion for education and student support.
• Previous experience working with young people (desirable).
