Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Ealing | Immediate Start

Join an exceptional Primary School in Ealing as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in helping young learners overcome barriers to communication and thrive academically and socially.
Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – What’s on Offer:
- £95 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weekly via PAYE.
- Full-time role starting immediately and running until the end of the academic year (July).
- Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
- Work closely with speech therapists, SEN coordinators, and teachers to deliver tailored interventions.
- Opportunity to observe therapy sessions and assist with personalised learning plans.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with speech and language difficulties.
- Help deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress under the guidance of professionals.
- Foster confidence and communication skills in children across Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Who Are We Looking For?
- A graduate with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Linguistics, or Education.
- Prior experience supporting children with SLCN is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
- A proactive, empathetic, and adaptable individual eager to make a difference.
